What matters to you?

Do you know someone who faces financial insecurity?

Many individuals, like missionaries and social workers, work sacrificially every day to help others. Too often these jobs or life circumstances do not allow for adequate retirement funds.

Abundant Life Bamboo is looking for resources and opportunities to offset their expenses or provide supplemental income.

Clean Drinking Water

Every day I enjoy the very best drinking water from my reverse osmosis water filtration system. Meanwhile, there are about 2 billion people without safe water to drink.

While numbers of communities with safe drinking water have increased over recent years, there are still too many who risk sickness from unsafe water sources. And these limited resources often require oneor even two peopleto spend 10 to 70 hours a week traveling long distances to retrieve this water. Just imagine spending the equivalent time of a full-time job just to have safe water!

Abundant Life Bamboo will collaborate with other groups to dig more wells, improve infrastructure for better long-term access to safe water, and further the research and development of better filtration options.

Children in Need

Local children living in foster care, impoverished children forced to work instead of going to school, desperate children trapped in slaverythe needs are great.

Abundant Life Bamboo will support existing organizations such as Isaiah 117 House, Compassion International, and International Justice Mission while developing other creative means to bring abundant life to kids everywhere.

Second Chances

We all need forgiveness and the opportunity for redemption and reconciliation.

God offers all of these to us. We only need to turn to him.

We can also offer this grace to one another. It's hard, even scary sometimes, to reach out to those who have done harm, but abundant life is meant for all people.

Abundant Life Bamboo plans to employ ex-convicts and prison inmates through a work-release program to assist us in planting and harvesting our farm. We are also looking for supplemental means of mentoring these men and/or women to encourage further rehabilitation and restoration.

Whole Health, Better Health

Are you concerned with current health trends?

As we learn about the lack of nutrients in our soil, the detriments of artificial ingredients and food dyes, the amount of plastic absorbed even into unborn babies, the increase of mental anguish, and the prevalence of symptoms such as brain fog and excessive fatigue, we need hope and a means to overcome.

Abundant Life Bamboo wants to improve awareness and education for healthier alternatives, from better farming practices to holistic methods of caring for our bodies.

I have experienced the firsthand benefits of whole-health care, seeing significant transformation with little to no pharmaceuticals. Medicine has its place and is an amazing gift. We also need healthy practices to prevent the preventable and knowledge of alternative care options so we can make informed decisions.

Who We Are Meant To Be

Jesus made it clear that when we care for others' needs, it's like we are caring for him. (Read Chapter 25 in the book of Matthew in the Bible.)

But if we only look to the physical needs, or even the emotional and mental health of others, we are still missing a foundational piece: our spirit.

To be human, as God designed, is to bear the image of God, who is spirit. If we neglect our spirit, we will never be who we were meant to be.

Abundant Life Bamboo recognizes the importance of growing in our relationship with God, and we support those who provide the resources and community that help people to be disciples and to disciple others.
